Anzuya

We went out to eat at this neat restaurant on Saturday night; it's named Anzuya. My buddy Kraig went with us, and it was sort of a going away meal, since he's leaving Okinawa next weekend.

The food was really good, especially the sashimi. There was quite a variety of dishes, and the atmosphere was nice. Of particular note was the glass floors. The room we were in sits over a pool of water, with fountains and lights in it. It makes for a strange sensation when walking around in there.

We really enjoyed ourselves, and Kraig and I hid a nano cache behind the restaurant after dinner. The first three people that tried to find it logged DNFs (did not find), so I think it is very well hidden. We named the geocache, "Sayonara Kraig."

Good times.

yeah, rub it in... I'll be back for it. And with the looks of the food, I might go in this time.

Sounds like a good time was had by all - except the cachers to follow!

Anzuya looks like a very nice place, when I win the lottery and come over for a visit we'll have to stop in there...

Tim: Not trying to taunt, but I was certainly pleased to see that it wasn't an easy find. Maybe it will stay in place for a while.

Cary: Yep; the chow there is pretty good, if you like the local cuisine.

Hey John, how much yen/person should a guy budget to bring when going to that place?

Tim: We went with four adults and one child, and we spent 14,000. We ate pretty rich, though (big sashimi plate, and lots of interesting sides of seafood).

I would say about 2.5K per person, on average. Get a reservation for the center rooms, though. The atmosphere in that part of the restaurant is worth it.
