I found a geocache hidden near this statue in a small park in Kin Village (the cache shares the name of this post). The park is just a stone's throw off of route 329, and not far from gate two of Camp Hansen. You can click the picture for the full size version.

This is probably not a good time (yet - it's only been twenty five years) to mention that I have a picture of that guy, too - but with a certain young Marine standing next to him.
I think the Oki Police still have that young Marine posted as a "most wanted" guy.

Followed you there a few days later... I enjoyed the park almost as much as I enjoy that gate being open on base now.

I like how all of the trees surround the tree, almost like a cubby hole..
